Aeroelastics Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Aeroelastics Team Member to join our cutting-edge eVTOL development team. This role involves contributing to the design, analysis, and validation of aeroelastic systems to ensure the stability, performance, and safety of next-generation eVTOL aircraft. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for advanced air mobility.
- Conduct aeroelastic simulations using advanced computational tools.
- Develop and validate analytical models for flutter, divergence, and control reversal studies.
- Collaborate with structural and flight dynamics teams to ensure effective coupling of aerodynamic, structural, and control systems.
- Support wind tunnel testing, flight testing, and vibration testing for aeroelastic validation.
- Provide design recommendations to reduce weight and improve performance while ensuring aeroelastic stability.
- Contribute to design trade studies, balancing performance, safety, and cost considerations.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for design reviews and certification submissions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant aviation standards and certification requirements.

Essential Skills
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Aeroelastics analysis for aerospace vehicles.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team that has developed and applied Aeroelastics analysis tools and environments.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following; NASTRAN/RCAS/MATLAB/Simulink, Python etc
- Knowledge of technical requirements for Aeroelastics discipline and participated in managing them throughout the life-cycle (capture, mature, validation and verification).
- English proficiency at the level necessary for technical development
Desirable Skills
- Aeroelastics knowledge and experience for multicopters.
- Experience of executing Aeroelastics related ground and flight test programmes for aerospace vehicles.
- Understanding of multi-copters and rotor blades aerodynamics and rotor dynamics and impact on Aeroelastics requirements and analysis.
- Adopted new technology in aerospace and supported development of novel aircraft configurations.
- Strong software design and development skills.
- Knowledge of proposed eVTOL regulations and means of compliance.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Type of Employment
- Permanent Employee or Contract Employee
- Probationary period: 3~6 month
Place of Employment
- Nagoya Airport Office: Nagoya Airport Terminal Building 2nd floor, Toyoba, Toyoyama-Cho, Nishikasugai, Aichi Prefecture
- Scope of Change: Places determined by the Company (including places where telework is performed)
Working Hours
- Flextime or Discretionary labor system
- Basic working hours: Start 9:00 End 18:00(Including 1hour break time)
Holidays
- 115 days off per year(Saturday / Sundays / Newyear holidays(12/29~1/3) / Company designated holidays)
- Annual paid leave

Salary
- Annual salary paid in 12 monthly installments (including fixed overtime allowance)
