Outline of the Job
As a PMO at SkyDrive, you will be a central driver of our mission. You'll support project leaders and group managers while proactively identifying cross-organizational issues and proposing and executing solutions to achieve our schedule, cost, and human resources goals. This role comes with specific authority and responsibility to drive change from within our organization. What you'll do:
- Lead Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans and set clear goals and schedules.
- Manage projects from a holistic perspective, balancing quality, cost, and delivery.
- Select, implement, and manage the best project management tools for tracking progress and resources.
- Monitoring & Reporting:
- Provide regular, clear reports to stakeholders and management on project status, risks, and issues.
- Proactively gather information from all groups to visualize overall project health and propose and execute solutions to keep things on track.
- You will have the authority and responsibility to prioritize tasks and issues when needed. You will also identify unacknowledged issues between groups and ensure all tasks have an owner.
- Drive Process Improvement:
- Develop standard processes and templates to promote and implement project management best practices.
- Manage governance meetings to ensure discussions are productive and that all decisions and action items are clearly documented.
- Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as a central communication hub, supporting group managers and facilitating consensus building.
- Ensure effective cross-group collaboration, coordinate and support issue resolution, and keep everyone aligned and moving toward our collective goals.
Essential Skills
- Project Management Expertise: 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically within mobility or aerospace-related projects.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with popular project management tools like Jira, Asana, or Trello for managing tasks, tracking progress, and allocating resources.
- Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of eVTOL or aircraft technology and the associated development processes is advantage.
- Organizational & Leadership Acumen: Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive, supportive leadership style that focuses on empowering others.
- Problem-Solving: The tenacity to identify difficult problems and the ability to spontaneously propose and drive solutions.
- Specialized Domain Knowledge: Demonstrated experience and a solid understanding of either Supply Chain Management (SCM) or Certification and Safety processes within a highly regulated industry.
Desirable Skills
- Certifications: Project management-related certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2.
- Aerospace Background: Prior experience in project management within the aerospace or consulting industry.
- Technical Knowledge: A technical background with knowledge in design, analysis, manufacturing, or testing.
- Curiosity & Initiative: A strong curiosity to acquire necessary knowledge and a self-starting attitude that doesn’t require constant supervision.

Type of Employment
- Permanent Employee or Contract Employee
- Probationary period: 3~6 month
Place of Employment
- Nagoya Airport Office: Nagoya Airport Terminal Building 2nd floor, Toyoba, Toyoyama-Cho, Nishikasugai, Aichi Prefecture
- Measures to Prevent Secondhand Smoke: Smoking Room Provided
- Scope of Change: Places determined by the Company (including places where telework is performed)
Working Hours
- Flextime or Discretionary labor system
- In the case of flextime: No core time
- Discretionary Labor System: Specialized Class Deemed working hours per day: 10 hours
- Basic working hours: Start 9:00 End 18:00(Including 1hour break time)
- Overtime Work: Available
Holidays
- 115 days off per year(Saturday / Sundays / Newyear holidays(12/29~1/3) / Company designated holidays)
- Annual paid leave
- Refresh leave (Granted after 1, 3, 4, 5 years of service)
Salary
- Estimated Annual Salary: JPY 6,850,000- JPY 13,000,000
- Monthly Salary: JPY 571,000 - JPY 1,084,000
- Includes fixed overtime pay for 45 hours, amounting to JPY 197,680 - JPY 375,239
*Additional overtime pay will be provided for hours exceeding the fixed overtime.
