Noise Test for eVTOL
Outlie of the Job
You will be in charge of planning, managing, and promoting the development of a certification plan for noise of flying cars (manned drones), developing a test outline for exterior noise, searching/selecting a test site, conducting the test, and coordinating with the Civil Aviation Bureau to obtain aviation certification.
You will also be responsible for predicting and analyzing exterior and interior noise of flying cars (manned drones), assisting in rotor noise reduction, and supporting structural design for cabin noise.
Specifically, you will be involved in understanding the items and required standards for obtaining aviation certification regarding the exterior noise of flying cars, formulating test items, devising measurement methods, and designing test equipment and procedures in order to obtain the exterior noise data required to be obtained and submitted. After that, you will search and select a test field, prepare for the test, conduct the test, analyze the data, and prepare a report, all in cooperation with the flight test team.

Essential Skills

- Experience in aircraft-related noise control design, test planning/implementation, and measurement planning/implementation.
- Project leading skill
- Ability to read and understand technical standards accurately in English.
- The candidate should be able to establish the development process of the assigned technical field from the initial stage in order to support the aircraft development.
- The candidate should have a good understanding of the aircraft development process (e.g. ARP4754).
- The candidate should be able to plan, manage, and facilitate the selection, validation, and verification of requirements for the assigned technical area.
- The candidate must be able to understand and harmonize the requirements of multiple teams on technical issues.
- Ability to build good working relationships in a multilingual and cross-cultural environment.
Desirable Skills
- Ability to speak and write English at a level appropriate for the job.
- Experience in aircraft certification.
- Experience with aircraft (both fixed wing and rotary wing), from conceptual and basic design.
- Experience with rotary aircraft, drones, eVTOL.
- Understanding of the aerodynamic characteristics of propeller/rotor blades and their impact on noise.
- Experience in noise analysis of aircraft cabin noise and knowledge of cabin noise reduction measures.

Type of Employment

- Probationary period: 3~6 month
Place of Employment
- Nagoya Airport Office: Nagoya Airport Terminal Building 2nd floor, Toyoba, Toyoyama-Cho, Nishikasugai, Aichi Prefectur
- Scope of Change: Places determined by the Company (including places where telework is performed)
Working Hours
- Flextime or Discretionary labor system
- Basic working hours: Start 9:00 End 18:00(Including 1hour break time)

Salary
- Annual salary paid in 12 monthly installments (including fixed overtime allowance)
