System Certification Engineer for eVTOL development
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Certification Engineer to join our eVTOL engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our flight control systems meet regulatory requirements and safety standards set forth by relevant aviation authorities. This role involves meticulous analysis, testing, and documentation to guarantee the airworthiness of our aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews of flight control system designs, specifications, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop certification plans with our design team about the performance of flight control systems.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, test pilots, and regulatory authorities, to address certification issues and implement necessary changes.
- Understand system-level analyses, such as fault tree analysis and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA).
- Coordinate and oversee flight tests to validate the functionality and reliability of flight control systems under various operating conditions.
- Prepare comprehensive certification documentation, including reports, technical manuals, and compliance matrices, for submission to regulatory agencies.
- Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the certification process.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in flight control system design, development, and certification in the aerospace industry.
- Experience with certification activities, such as ARP4754/ ARP4761 compliance
Desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory authorities.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards, practices, and technologies related to avionics and flight control systems.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and certification processes, such as FAA Part 23, Part 25, or equivalent international regulations, is highly desirable.

- Probationary period: 3~6 month
Place of Employment
- Nagoya Airport Office: Nagoya Airport Terminal Building 2nd floor, Toyoba, Toyoyama-Cho, Nishikasugai, Aichi Prefecture
- Scope of Change: Places determined by the Company (including places where telework is performed)
Working Hours
- Flextime or Discretionary labor system
- Basic working hours: Start 9:00 End 18:00(Including 1hour break time)
Holidays
- 115 days off per year(Saturday / Sundays / Newyear holidays(12/29~1/3) / Company designated holidays)
- Annual paid leave
- Refresh leave (Granted after 1, 3, 4, 5 years of service)
Salary
- Annual salary paid in 12 monthly installments (including fixed overtime allowance)
- To be determined based on skills, experience, and abilities
