Aircraft Level Requirements Engineer
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aircraft Level Requirements Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Aircraft Level Requirements Engineer, you will play a critical role in defining, managing, and ensuring the compliance of aircraft-level requirements for our eVTOL platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including design, systems engineering, certification, and flight test to ensure that our aircraft meet regulatory standards, customer expectations, and internal objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain aircraft-level requirements documents, including system requirements specifications, interface control documents, and traceability matrices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, prioritize, and validate requirements from various sources including regulatory agencies, internal and external stakeholders, and industry standards.
- Define and manage requirements baselines throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring traceability and consistency across all levels of requirements.
- Conduct requirement reviews and ensure compliance with relevant airworthiness regulations (e.g., JCAB, FAA) and industry standards (e.g., RTCA, SAE).
- Work closely with systems engineers, design engineers, and certification specialists to ensure that requirements are properly allocated, verified, and validated.
- Support the development of verification and validation plans and participate in test activities to ensure that requirements are adequately verified and validated.
- Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams on requirement-related issues, including change management and configuration control.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with requirements management and compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in aircraft systems engineering, requirements engineering, or a related field, preferably in the aerospace or eVTOL industry.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, including avionics, propulsion, structures, and flight controls.
- Familiarity with airworthiness regulations and certification processes (e.g., FAR Part 23/25, CS-23/25, DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754).
- Proficiency in requirements management tools such as DOORS, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and formal methods.
Desirable
- Experience with simulation and modeling tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, Amesim, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Knowledge of advanced aerospace technologies such as electric propulsion, distributed electric propulsion (DEP), and autonomy.
- Experience with safety analysis techniques such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
- Familiarity with industry standards for safety-critical software development (e.g., DO-178C) and hardware development (e.g., DO-254).
- Ability to conduct trade-off analyses and make recommendations for system architecture and design decisions.
- Experience with requirements management for complex integrated systems and multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements.

Type of Employment

- Probationary period: 3~6 month

- Nagoya Airport Office: Nagoya Airport Terminal Building 2nd floor, Toyoba, Toyoyama-Cho, Nishikasugai, Aichi Prefecture
- Scope of Change: Places determined by the Company (including places where telework is performed)
Working Hours
- Flextime or Discretionary labor system
- Basic working hours: Start 9:00 End 18:00(Including 1hour break time)

- 115 days off per year(Saturday / Sundays / Newyear holidays(12/29~1/3) / Company designated holidays)

Salary
- Annual salary paid in 12 monthly installments (including fixed overtime allowance)
