Avionics Development Engineer
Outline of the Job
This position is responsible for design/development, integration and certification of the avionics system for our eVTOL aircraft. This position requires a balance of on-desk and hands-on activities, ensuring that the avionics systems meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and innovation.
- Perform validation and verification of requirements.
- Support the development and discussions related to the Avionics and Lighting Certification Plan.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders on the process to select avionics equipment.
- Develop or review system architecture, electrical and mechanical ICDs, wiring diagrams, installation drawings, and other applicable documents to support integration and installation of avionics equipment.
- Support technical discussions with the suppliers to ensure that the product meets the requirements.
- Perform data analysis, identify possible deviations to the requirements and discuss solutions with the suppliers.
- Develop or review artifacts required for the certification of the aircraft.

Essential Skills
- 5+ years of practical experience in the design and development of one or more of the following avionics & lighting systems/sub-systems
- ATA 31 (Indicating and Recording): displays
- ATA 33 (Lights): internal and external lights
- ATA 34 (Navigation): air data (ADS) and/or attitude & direction (AHRS) and/or flight management (FMS)
- Experience in development in accordance with ARP4754 process
Desirable Skills
- Experience in the development of eVTOL or UAM-related projects
- Knowledge and practical experience with aviation industry standards (DO-178C, DO-254, etc.)
- Experience in system integration and testing
- Project management skills and experience in team leadership
- Experience in user interface development for multi-display environments

- Nagoya Airport Office: Nagoya Airport Terminal Building 2nd floor, Toyoba, Toyoyama-Cho, Nishikasugai, Aichi Prefecture
- Scope of Change: Places determined by the Company (including places where telework is performed)
Working Hours
- Flextime or Discretionary labor system
- Basic working hours: Start 9:00 End 18:00(Including 1hour break time)

- 115 days off per year(Saturday / Sundays / Newyear holidays(12/29~1/3) / Company designated holidays)

Salary
- Annual salary paid in 12 monthly installments (including fixed overtime allowance)
