We are seeking an innovative and skilled Flight Test Engineer for flying cars. As we pioneer the future of transportation with flying cars, we need a talented engineer to contribute to the flight testing of our cutting-edge aerial vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace engineering, experience in flight testing, and a passion for shaping the future of urban air transportation.

Key Responsibility

  • Develop comprehensive flight test plans tailored to the unique requirements of flying cars.
  • Utilize advanced instrumentation and data acquisition systems to collect and analyze flight test data for performance, stability, and control characteristics.
  • Collaborate with other teams to assess the integration of autonomous and piloted systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and contribute to the development of safety procedures for flying cars.
  • Prepare detailed test reports, documenting procedures, results, and conclusions.

The eVTOL will be manned and driven by multiple propellers, which is unprecedented. This makes flight testing an extremely challenging project, but it is precisely because of this that we can be proud of the fact that we have created a product that will leave a lasting mark on history.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience in flight testing, preferably with aircraft or similar aerial vehicles.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in creating and evaluating test requirements
  • Knowledge of flight characteristics and performance and ability to analyze
  • Working experience with measurement and data analysis tools
  • Experience with eVTOL development
  • Knowledge of system integration and design
  • Some experience with TC acquisition

  • Those who can act on their own initiative
  • Have good listening skills to draw out potential issues
  • Have good negotiation skills
  • Have the ability to drive the project forward

 


Type of Employment

  • Permanent Employee or Contract Employee
  • Probationary period: 3~6 month

Place of Employment

  • Nagoya Airport Office: Nagoya Airport Terminal Building 2nd floor, Toyoba, Toyoyama-Cho, Nishikasugai, Aichi Prefecture
  • Toyota Test Field - Asuke, Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture
    • Medium to long term travel to testing sites will be required due to this position's characteristics.
  • Scope of Change: Places determined by the Company (including places where telework is performed)

Working Hours

  • Flextime or Discretionary labor system
  • Basic working hours: Start 9:00 End 18:00(Including 1hour break time)

Holidays

  • 115 days off per year(Saturday / Sundays / Newyear holidays(12/29~1/3) / Company designated holidays)
  • Annual paid leave
  • Refresh leave (Granted after 1, 3, 4, 5 years of service)

Salary

  • Annual salary paid in 12 monthly installments (including fixed overtime allowance)
  • To be determined based on skills, experience, and abilities
