Flight Test Instrumentation System Design
Outlie of the Job
You will be involved in the design of instrumentation systems to correctly measure the flight test results of flying vehicles (manned drones) and use them to obtain aeronautical certification and develop aircraft.
Key Responsibility
- Work with each team to develop data specifications to be obtained during flight testing
- Design instrumentation systems combining various sensors, data recorders, antennas, communication methods, control equipment, and electrical components such as wire harnesses and connectors
- Select components and suppliers that meet system requirements, and evaluate and verify procured components
- Modifying systems to accommodate changes in flight test conditions and required data, troubleshooting and handling design changes to eliminate defects
- Processing flight test data, modifications, and documentation.

Essential Skills
- Experience in designing instrumentation systems and instrumentation equipment (aircraft, automotive, experimental and evaluation equipment, etc.)
Desirable Skills
- Experience in flight testing
- Experience in data processing
- Mechanical and electrical manufacturing assembly experience
- Experience in mechanical or electrical design
- Working experience with measurement and data analysis tools
- Experience in collecting and analyzing test data.

Type of Employment
- Permanent Employee or Contract Employee
- Probationary period: 3~6 month
Place of Employment
- Toyota Test Field - Asuke, Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture
- Nagoya Airport Office: Nagoya Airport Terminal Building 2nd floor, Toyoba, Toyoyama-Cho, Nishikasugai, Aichi Prefecture
- Medium to long term travel to testing sites will be required due to this position's characteristics.
- Scope of Change: Places determined by the Company (including places where telework is performed)
Working Hours
- Flextime or Discretionary labor system
- Basic working hours: Start 9:00 End 18:00(Including 1hour break time)
Holidays
- 115 days off per year(Saturday / Sundays / Newyear holidays(12/29~1/3) / Company designated holidays)
- Annual paid leave
- Refresh leave (Granted after 1, 3, 4, 5 years of service)
Salary
- Annual salary paid in 12 monthly installments (including fixed overtime allowance)
- To be determined based on skills, experience, and abilities
