Certification specialist for eVTOL
Outline of the Job
As a Certification Specialist in the eVTOL industry, you will lead the certification process for eVTOL. You will play a key role in helping to achieve safety and performance standards through understanding and applying regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Working with the team, this position will be responsible for a wide range of tasks from the development of certification strategies to implementation.
Key Responsibility
- Manage the certification process for eVTOL aircraft and assist in the preparation and submission of certification documentation to relevant aviation authorities (e.g., JCAB, FAA ).
- Support the development and maintenance of compliance matrices, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and testing teams to gather and verify data required for certification.
- Participate in certification planning meetings and coordinate activities to meet project timelines.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and report progress on certification.
- Provide support during certification tests and evaluations, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
- Assist in addressing certification-related inquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Skills
- Experience in the aircraft or eVTOL certification process.
- Understanding of aviation regulations and standards (JCAB, FAA, EASA, etc.)
- Experience in writing and reviewing technical documentation.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Detailed problem solving and analytical skills.
Desirable Skills
- Expertise in eVTOL or electric aircraft.
- Experience in obtaining type certification in aircraft development.
- Experience with ARP4754A
- Experience with DO-178C and / or DO-254
- Experience in design and technical evaluation.
- Industry related certifications (e.g. PMP, Certified Engineer, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Type of Employment
- Permanent Employee or Contract Employee
- Probationary period: 3~6 month
Place of Employment
- Nagoya Airport Office: Nagoya Airport Terminal Building 2nd floor, Toyoba, Toyoyama-Cho, Nishikasugai, Aichi Prefecture
- Scope of Change: Places determined by the Company (including places where telework is performed)
Working Hours
- Flextime or Discretionary labor system
- Basic working hours: Start 9:00 End 18:00(Including 1hour break time)
Holidays
- 115 days off per year(Saturday / Sundays / Newyear holidays(12/29~1/3) / Company designated holidays)
- Annual paid leave
- Refresh leave (Granted after 1, 3, 4, 5 years of service)
Salary
- Annual salary paid in 12 monthly installments (including fixed overtime allowance)
