Virtualisation's DevOps Engineer

Your role at Exness:
Our team is growing and we are currently looking for an experienced Virtualisation's DevOps Engineer.
As a Virtualisation's DevOps Engineer you will manage, support and develop the Company’s virtualization platform and will have experience with public and private clouds (OpenStack-based is liked), Kubernetes management, software defined networks and storage.
If you are not already located in Cyprus, relocation to Cyprus is a requirement for this role.
You will:
- Scope of technical work planning.
- Reviewing and updating technical requirements.
- Conducting PoC of new developing solutions.
- Representing results matching requirements with a strong technical systematic approach.
- Developing deployment procedures, scripts, playbook, HCL.
- Deploying virtualisation environments / private clouds within automation.
- Supporting existing and new virtualisation platforms deployments.
- Developing deployment automation on top of virtualisation platforms / private clouds.
- Maintaining observability for virtualisation platforms.
- Ensuring platforms availability and reliability.
- Communicating with Platform Engineering and SRE teams.
- Updating software with security patches.
- Testing and rolling out software upgrades.
What makes you a great fit:
- Strong engineering education. (Bachelor / Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent).
- Good IP-based network understanding with experience in SDN (software defined networks).
- Strong Linux mastering skills (namespaces, cgroup, qemu/kvm).
- Proficient in Containerisation and Orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, OpenShift).
- Advanced understanding of virtualisation on qemu/kvm.
- Experience with OpenStack (Keystone, Cinder, Neutron, Nova, Glance, Octavia at least).
- Experience with storage connected to virtualisation platforms / private cloud.
- Well scripting skills in Terraform and Ansible (AWX is a plus).
- Scripting skills with Helm charts.
- Experience with Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK).
- Team player skills.
- Good communication skills.
- English language proficiency at or above upper-intermediate level (for international collaboration and studying English-language standards and documentation).
