Backend Software Engineer, Golang/Python (Corporate Development)
Cyprus
We’re looking for a self-driven, detail-oriented Golang backend developer who can work well both independently and as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
Our Tech Stack:
- Backend services are primarily in Python (FastAPI/Django) and Golang (Gin)
- Frontend using React and Next.js
- Deployed on Kubernetes
- Data is stored mainly in PostgreSQL
- We use Kafka
What makes you a great fit:
- 5+ years of experience in software development with 3+ years of experience in back-end development using Golang/Python
- Strong knowledge of Golang frameworks and development practices
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka in production environments
- Expertise in database design, including performance optimization and complex queries
- Solid experience working in CI/CD environments and integrating automated testing (unit, integration, and performance tests)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of modern architectural patterns, such as event-driven architecture and message queues
- Comfortable working with complex business logic and optimizing performance for data-intensive applications
- Team player with excellent problem-solving skills
- Able to take ownership of tasks and deliver results independently, even with minimal direction or unclear requirements
- Proficiency in written and spoken English for business communication
Nice to have:
- Experience with React/Vue/Angular
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or container orchestration tools
- Familiarity with Linux environments
- Knowledge of additional databases like MongoDB or Clickhouse
- Experience with gRPC or other high-performance communication protocols
