Business Continuity Manager

Your role at Exness:
We are seeking an experienced Business Continuity Manager to join our Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team and lead our efforts in business continuity planning and crisis readiness.
This role involves maintaining and enhancing continuity strategies, coordinating disaster recovery planning, driving risk mitigation initiatives, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards. The Business Continuity Manager will collaborate across departments to ensure that critical business operations can continue during and after disruptive events.
If you are not already located in Cyprus, relocation to Cyprus is a requirement for this role.
You will:
- Design, implement, and oversee the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS), including Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs), aligned with CBCI 7.0 methodology and relevant industry standards.
- Plan and conduct regular continuity and recovery exercises; assess outcomes and ensure timely updates to continuity documentation and procedures.
- Act as a key coordinator during crisis situations such as natural disasters, cybersecurity incidents, or major IT outages, ensuring swift and effective response.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and visual reports to track the maturity and effectiveness of continuity programs.
- Engage with executive leadership and key stakeholders to communicate continuity strategies, progress, and areas of improvement.
- Promote business continuity awareness across the organization through informative sessions, training workshops, and internal communication initiatives.
What makes you a great fit:
- Higher education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience in Business Continuity - developing, testing and maintaining Business Continuity (BCP, DRP) plans, preferably aligned with CBCI 7.0 or similar international standards.
- Knowledge of key directives, regulations and supervisory requirements in the European Union (EU) related to IT, business continuity and cyber risk management for financial institutions (DORA, NIS2, EBA/GL/2019/*).
- Experience participating in business continuity audits and preparing for reviews by external regulators or accredited organizations.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CBCI, CBCP, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor, CRISC, CISM) are considered highly advantageous.
- English language proficiency at or above upper-intermediate level.
