Quantitative Researcher

Your role at Exness:
We are seeking a talented Quantitative Researcher to join our dynamic international team of researchers, developers, QA specialists, analysts, and project owners based in Cyprus. In this role, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of our pricing algorithms through in-depth research and analysis.
You will:
- Design and optimize pricing algorithms, working closely with the development team for seamless implementation.
- Analyze market data, trends, and pricing strategies to enhance our pricing models.
- Develop econometric, statistical, and machine learning models to support pricing decisions.
- Formulate and test hypotheses using financial data.
- Create analytical tools to identify data patterns and insights.
- Investigate client trading behaviors and identify inefficiencies in our pricing algorithms.
- Conduct competitor pricing analyzes to ensure our offerings remain competitive.
- Find and eliminate arbitrage opportunities within our pricing offering
- Define/update trading conditions for new/existing financial instruments.
What makes you a great fit:
- A Bachelors, Master's or PhD degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or equivalent STEM degree
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Quantitative Researcher, or a similar role within financial markets.
- Solid foundation in mathematics and statistics.
- Strong knowledge of market-making principles.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Julia or R, along with relevant libraries and frameworks.
- Working knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and their applications in trading systems and/or time-series analysis.
- Experience working with large datasets, especially tick and order-book data
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
