Role Overview
We are looking for a Monitoring Dynatrace Engineer for our client. You will maintain and improve the monitoring environment, develop Dynatrace extensions, and ensure reliable observability across IT systems while supporting incident resolution.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Configure and manage Dynatrace monitoring solutions, dashboards, and alerts according to best practices.
  • Monitor IT systems and applications to ensure performance, stability, and availability.
  • Identify and troubleshoot monitoring issues on software, network, and infrastructure levels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support incident resolution and optimize system observability.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain Dynatrace extensions to integrate custom technologies and data sources.
  • Analyze monitoring data and take proactive measures to improve system performance and prevent incidents.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3-5 years of experience in monitoring, observability, or infrastructure/DevOps roles.
  • Hands-on expertise with Dynatrace, including extensions, dashboards, alerts, RUM, synthetics, and custom metrics.
  • Proficient in scripting (Python preferred, Bash/PowerShell also fine) and working with APIs for automation.
  • Strong understanding of IT environments, including Linux/Windows systems, networking, cloud platforms, containers, and monitoring protocols.
  • Analytical and proactive, able to troubleshoot, follow ITIL processes, and consider security, performance, and scalability.
  • Curious and collaborative, with a degree or equivalent experience in IT, and fluent in English.
