The Role in a Nutshell  

The Senior Product Designer drives the vision and execution of high-impact design solutions. This position involves leading design initiatives, mentoring team members, and shaping the user experience strategy across products and services.

 

Your Day-to-Day 

🔹  Lead end-to-end design processes for complex projects, from discovery to delivery

🔹 Ensure design consistency and quality across the entire product

🔹 Partner with leadership to define product vision, user experience goals, and design strategies, translating product goals into innovative design solutions

🔹 Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless design implementation

🔹 Conduct user research and usability testing in collaboration with ux research to gather insights, identify potential pain points, and advocate for user needs

🔹Contribute to and evolve the design system, setting standards for consistency, scalability, and accessibility

🔹Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to junior and mid-level designers

🔹Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to improve our design processes and deliverables. 

 

Your Key Strengths

🔹 6+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to deliver impactful solutions (bonus points if you are familiar with B2B applications)

🔹 Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch etc. (We use Figma)

🔹 Experience with conducting user research and usability testing

🔹 Exceptional understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and usability best practices

🔹Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a collaborative mindset

🔹Proven track record of communicating effectively with stakeholders

🔹Familiarity with agile workflows (especially Scrum) and experience with project management tools such as Jira

🔹Proven expertise in designing, maintaining, and evolving design systems, along with developing thoughtful and scalable reusable components

🔹Bonus points if you’re an active member of the design community
