The Role in a Nutshell
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our client, responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure, primarily using Cisco Systems equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network configuration, fault management, and communication with service providers and partners.
Your Day-to-Day
- Managing the organization's network infrastructure, consisting mainly of routers and switches, primarily from Cisco Systems.
- Performing configurations based on predefined templates and technical guidelines.
- Monitoring network management systems and handling faults and malfunctions related to communications, circuits, and network equipment.
- Communicating with telecom service providers for fault reporting and managing involved parties until service restoration.
- Collaborating with internal and external partners to coordinate installation teams for network equipment deployments.
- Analyzing reports from both the organization and providers, and undertaking specific actions to resolve identified issues.
Your Key Strengths
- Solid knowledge of computer networks and Cisco equipment.
- CCNA certification is required.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and ease of working with management software.
- Desired: Basic programming knowledge, preferably in Python.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Good communication skills in both Greek and English.
