The Role in a Nutshell

We are seeking for a Network Engineer (Level 2) to join our client's Network Operations Center (NOC) team, focusing on DWDM technology. The role involves fault troubleshooting, coordination of operations, collaboration with planning and field teams, and contribution to the evolution and stability of our optical network infrastructure.

 

Your Day-to-Day

  • Collaborate with the network planning team for the development and expansion of the DWDM network, including service rollouts and integration of new technologies.
  • Work closely with field engineers for the installation and commissioning of new network nodes and services, as well as for fault investigation and resolution.
  • Participate in on-call rotations outside regular working hours for critical incident support.
  • Manage and operate NOC tools (NMS, logging systems, etc.).
  • Prepare technical specifications, operational procedures, and documentation to support NOC activities.

     

 

Your Key Strengths

  • University (AEI) or Technical Education Institute (TEI) degree in Telecommunications or a related field

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Level 2 engineer in DWDM network environments.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the deployment, configuration, or supervision of industrial environments and processes, with hands-on familiarity with ICS/SCADA systems.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring, logging systems, and alarm correlation tools.
