Linux Server Engineer

Your role at Exness:
You will become part of the trading infrastructure team to manage and develop our products on the Linux platform
You will:
- Manage virtual and hardware Linux servers (RedHat, Debian) in on-premise and cloud infrastructures in a 24x7 environment ensuring performance, reliability and safety requirements.
- Work with open-source and our in-house software on Linux
- Manage data collection and distribution infrastructure (load balancers, cloud providers, cloud storages, databases).
- Implement automation as much as possible developing in Ansible and HashiCorp Terraform.
- Be an expert in Linux servers and infrastructure software helping other teams troubleshoot performance and stability issues, participate in developing infrastructure solutions ensuring reliability and scalability.
What makes you a great fit:
Technical / Hard Skills:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5 years+ of experience with Linux OS (both RedHat- and Debian-based) and open-source software (Docker, HAProxy, Nginx, Bind9 etc)
- Understanding the Linux kernel, especially network subsystem
- Understanding the Linux service configuration and management
- Experience with Linux performance analysis and turning for different scenarios
- Scripting languages( Bash, Python, etc.) programming skills
- Experience with monitoring and logging systems: Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Telegraf, InfluxDB, Graylog
- Solid understanding of the functional and operational practices necessary to operate in a highly available environment to meet business requirements
- Understanding of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) technologies
Nice to Have:
- Experience in developing HashiCorp Terraform scripts
- Experience with Linux advanced networking, network namespaces, nftables
- EBPF programming
- Experience with Keycloak SSO, HashiCorp products: Consul, Vault
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes
