Team Lead — In-house Anti-Fraud Team

Your role at Exness:

We’re looking for a Team Lead to join our In-house Anti-Fraud team within the Partnership Product Development Department at Exness. In this role, you’ll lead a cross-functional engineering team and ensure the development of reliable, high-performance products that fully meet business needs.

You will:

  • As a Technical Lead:
    • Own the technology stack and tools used by the team, drive evaluation and implementation.
    • Work with the team to analyze and troubleshoot product incidents; drive improvements to prevent issues before they arise.
    • Participate in planning, set team goals, and support the team in delivering on them.
    • Collaborate with your team to find scalable, maintainable technical solutions to business problems.
    • Drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of engineering standards and processes within the business unit.
    • Address challenges independently, applying your technical expertise and leadership.
    As a Line Manager:
    • Lead the team in line with company policies: hire, onboard, support performance reviews, and help the team stay aligned and productive.
    • Partner with L&D and HR to mentor and develop your team, helping each member grow and achieve their best results.
    • Foster a strong, motivated team culture that inspires excellence.

What makes you a great fit:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development across cross-functional teams, ideally with Python.
  • 2+ years in a leadership role managing people and building effective teams.
  • Strong planning skills and the ability to manage technical debt effectively.
  • Proven experience in hiring, team development, and performance management.
  • Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.
  • Advanced communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English for work-related communication and documentation.
  • Experience working with large datasets and high-load systems.
  • Strong system design skills and architectural thinking.
  • Background in fraud prevention or security-related domains.
  • Experience working in large companies.
