Location: Budapest, Hungary | Reports to: Finance Manager| Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for Hungary |Language Requirements: Fluent/professional Hungarian and English, written and verbal| Work Arrangement: Hybrid

As our Accounting & Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for daily accounting activities including Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, and maintaining accurate and complete records. In this role, you will support in month-end closings, internal and external reporting as well as planning and forecasting. Together with the team, you will work closely with continuous improvement of our financial processes.

Key responsibilities:     

  • Support the full accounting cycle, cash management and treasury activities 
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly closing processes (local GAAP and IFRS) 
  • Communicate data to local accounting agency for local GAAP and tax reporting 
  • Provide support in audits and assurance activities with external and tax auditors and headquarters 
  • Enter data into the accounting system in accordance with applicable Crayon Group regulations 

Your Competencies:       

  • Solid experience as a financial accountant or from a similar role 
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or Economics 
  • Extensive knowledge working with IFRS and local GAAP 
  • Experience using ERP systems and local accounting experience, including transactional and financial accounting processes

  • You are self-motivated with good judgement in financial matters, attention to detail and ability to improve financial processes 
  • You present excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and structure correctly within tight deadlines 
  • You are an effective communicator skilled at collaborating with remote teams
