About the role:

 

We seek a highly motivated Delegate Sales Executive to drive delegate revenue across our portfolio of APAC-focused events. This role is ideal for a results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, has a strong commercial mindset, and is passionate about engaging senior-level executives across different industries.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Drive delegate sales revenue by proactively selling attendance packages to senior business professionals across the APAC region.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with past attendees and potential new delegates to maximise conversion and retention rates.
  • Research and identify prospective delegates through market intelligence, CRM databases, and industry networking.
  • Conduct outbound sales calls and emails to generate leads and close deals.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and content teams to align sales strategies with event positioning and audience engagement goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline management using CRM tools.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, ensuring high-level customer satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, customer insights, and competitive activities to refine sales strategies.
  • Represent FT Live professionally at industry events and conferences, both in-person and virtually, to enhance brand presence and secure new business opportunities.

 

Skills and Qualifications: 

 

  • Proven experience in B2B delegate sales, conference sales, or a related commercial sales role.
  • Strong understanding of the APAC market and ability to engage with senior-level professionals across diverse industries.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to confidently present and sell event value propositions.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexibly across time zones to engage with clients in the APAC region.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in an additional APAC language (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) is a plus.
