The Role
We seek a highly motivated and teammate to join our fast-paced Digital and Performance Marketing team. As a Performance Marketing Specialist – Social Media (B2B), you will support the team in planning, implementing, and handling organic social media campaigns across our B2B events portfolio. This includes events in sectors such as banking, finance, healthcare, sports, and technology, running on platforms like LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Meta, YouTube, and TikTok.
The role will focus on content creation, campaign management, copywriting, analytics, and collaborator communications. This role is ideal for someone with a proactive approach who excels in collaborative environments and is confident engaging with senior team members. There is the opportunity for travel to support our live events for those who go above and beyond.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, implement, and handle B2B social media campaigns across multiple channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Meta, YouTube, TikTok).

Report directly to the Social Media Manager.

Create tailored video content through use of tools such as Canva, Figma, Premiere Pro, or Photoshop Illustrator.

Conduct regular analysis and reporting on campaign performance, utilising Sprout Social and inputting data into Google Sheets.

Stay informed about FT Live social media standards, trends, policies, and guidelines, and communicate updates with key collaborators.

Handle both internal and external collaborators by informing them of current campaign performance and future opportunities.

Collaborate with team members to ensure campaign plans are achievable and on track.

Support A/B testing initiatives to optimise campaign performance.

Complete ad hoc assignments that provide additional value to our analytical or performance-based objectives.
Required skills and experience
-
A keen enthusiasm for news and media, with strong alignment to the FT’s values: integrity, ambition, curiosity, trust, inclusion, and subscriber focus.

1–2 years of B2B social media experience (client or agency) in the planning, execution, and management of campaigns across LinkedIn, Twitter, Meta, YouTube, and TikTok.

Strong project management or organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects in a timely manner.

Knowledge of native editing suites within platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.

Proficiency in copywriting and the ability to create innovative content aligned with key performance critical metrics.

Analytical skills with experience using social listening and analytics tools.

A 'test and learn’ approach or equivalent, with the initiative to propose new ideas and solutions.

A proactive approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

A confident communicator and natural collaborator, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
