Why this role matters

As a People Immigration Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all immigration procedures for employees and their family members. This includes preparing and submitting permit applications of any kind, dealing with the relocation procedures, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with government authorities. You will guide employees and their dependents through complex immigration processes, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations while delivering a smooth and supportive experience.

The role is based in our Limassol office, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.

What you'll actually do

  • Manage and coordinate all immigration procedures for employees and their family members.
  • Prepare, review, and submit all types of permit applications within required timelines.
  • Identify entry options and provide the best possible immigration solutions for relocating employees and their family members.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary immigration applications for relocating employees to obtain the required visas to enter Cyprus.
  • Assist employees and their family members in obtaining Cyprus citizenship.
  • Provide guidance on eligibility criteria, required documentation, and the application process.
  • Prepare and submit citizenship applications on behalf of employees and their dependents.
  • Secure appointments with relevant authorities for submission of citizenship applications.
  • Liaise with government authorities to ensure smooth processing and timely updates.
  • Manage employees’ and their families’ immigration data.
  • Ensure all immigration-related documents are uploaded and securely stored in the HR system.
  • Record and track permits, Cyprus passports, and other relevant immigration credentials.
  • Keep the HR system updated with any changes in employees’ and dependents’ immigration status or processes.
  • Manage the immigration-related off-boarding process for terminated employees.
  • Prepare and submit the applications for cancellation of the permits and bank guarantees.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements during the off-boarding process.

Who we’re looking for

  • A diploma or certification in Law, Human Resources, or a related field will be considered an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Immigration services.
  • Experience handling permit applications for BCS and their families and citizenship processes is required.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience with HR systems and Jira will be considered an advantage.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with immigration and other governmental authorities.
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in managing complex immigration processes. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases and deadlines.
  • Fluency in English language.
