The Roles:
Do you live and breathe social media? Are you always ahead of the curve, knowing the latest trends before they go viral? If you're someone who has a knack for creating content that not only engages but also entertains, we want you on our team.
We are seeking a Social & Content Marketing Manager who can elevate our brand with sharp, on-trend content across all our social platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies tailored for the Japan market, focusing on increasing brand visibility and user engagement across platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Line.
- Develop and implement scalable social and content marketing programs to drive measurable business results in Japan.
- Plan and schedule posts to ensure a consistent and cohesive content strategy across channels.
- Create briefs and manage relationships with influencers and content creators.
- Participate in conversations, engage with our audience, and build connections to boost brand presence.
- Track and analyse program performance through key metrics like engagement, reach, and follower growth, continuously optimising to maximise impact and efficiency
- Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms, bringing new ideas to keep our strategy relevant.
- Work closely with the global team and align with global social and content strategy
Requirements:
- 2-5 years experience in social and content marketing, with a track record of scaling programs for measurable goal
- A genuine passion and deep knowledge of pop culture, internet culture, and social media trends and channels, with a strategic mindset for influencing audience behaviour
- Experience with mobile editing apps and basic design tools (e.g. CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere).
- Hands-on experience with short-form content creation, particularly vertical video formats.
- A good understanding of social media metrics – able to interpret results and take action to increase the effectiveness of social media efforts.
- Bilingual: fluent in Japanese and advanced/business in English
- Based in or around Tokyo, and availability for occasional in-person events or content shoots.
