Position Overview
As the Country Director for Nothing Thailand, you will be the strategic and operational leader responsible for establishing and expanding our presence in the Thai market. You will be part of the founding team in Thailand and this role encompasses full P&L responsibility, team leadership, market development, and alignment with global strategies to drive exponential growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive country strategy that aligns with Nothing's global vision and objectives.
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments, including sales, marketing, customer service, and retail.
- Team Building: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to increase brand awareness and market share in Thailand.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the country's P&L, budgeting, and financial reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility and profitability.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, customers, government agencies, and the media.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all operations comply with local laws and regulations, and proactively manage risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior management roles within the consumer technology or related industries.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling business operations in Thailand or SEA.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of marketing to younger generations and an international mindset.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Fluent in Thai and English, both written and spoken.
