Full Stack developer, Software Product (AI)

London, England, United Kingdom

About Nothing

Nothing exists to make tech feel exciting again.

We’re building a different kind of technology company, one that puts design, emotion, and human creativity at the heart of everything we do. From the way our products look and feel to how we communicate and show up in culture, we believe technology should make you feel something.

Founded in London in 2020, we’ve grown from idea to global challenger in just a few years. Backed by GV (Google Ventures), EQT Ventures, and C Ventures, and investors like Tony Fadell (iPod), Casey Neistat, and Kevin Lin (Twitch), we’re now sold in 40+ markets with millions of users worldwide.

The Role:

As a Full Stack Developer at Nothing, you’ll be at the intersection of AI, web innovation, and product experimentation. You’ll help us build forward-thinking user experiences, from next-gen web platforms to AI-driven interfaces. You’ll join a cross-functional crew under AI & Services, one of Nothing’s most forward-looking divisions. It’s where we explore and ship what’s next – not just how to make existing things better, but how to invent what’s missing. We move fast, prototype relentlessly, and keep the bar high. If you like thinking big and building the future, this is your team.

This role sits at the intersection of web and mobile — building seamless experiences across platforms. You'll work on custom frontends, smart backend integrations, and help shape features that live everywhere from browsers to native apps to embedded system surfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain full-stack applications across web & mobile platforms
  • Collaborate with AI engineers, product designers, and hardware teams to bring early-stage ideas to life
  • Translate experimental concepts into scalable, performant code
  • Rapidly prototype AI interfaces (e.g. chat, voice, multi-modal) with real users in mind
  • Help define new patterns in how people interact with Nothing software
  • Contribute to the architecture, tools, and frameworks that power our AI service layer

Requirements

  • Proven experience building production-grade web applications (React, Next.js, or similar)
  • Backend skills in Node.js, Python, or similar; familiarity with microservices or cloud-native infrastructure
  • Experience working with APIs & MCPs (especially LLMs, real-time services, or vector databases is a bonus)
  • A strong product mindset – you care how things look, feel, and function
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
  • An eye for quality and a bias toward shipping
  • Bonus: experience in building AI-powered tools or creative applications (e.g. RAG systems, assistants, agents, etc.)

Why Nothing

You’ll join a company that still operates like a startup – fast, flat, and creative – but with the scale and ambition of a global challenger. You’ll have freedom to shape the US narrative, visibility at the highest level, and the opportunity to help write the next chapter of one of tech’s most exciting brands.
