The Role:

As a Senior Front End Engineer for the direct to consumer (DTC) Platform Team, you'll play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative features for our website, including e-commerce features. You'll collaborate closely with a small team in a dynamic environment to enhance our platform and to push the boundaries of web technology. 

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage the latest technologies to build transformative experiences for our e-commerce website
  • Ideate, build, and iterate quickly on projects that enhance the user experience, streamline the purchasing process, and integrate AI-driven features
  • Develop tools for other teams to manage localization more efficiently
  • Optimise our website’s response time and monitor the impact on users interactions with the website to identify website to identify friction points
  • Drive new features from prototype to production by collaborating closely with designers and other engineers
  • Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality and reliable software
  • Ensure the scalability and security of the platform

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, or related fields, with proven experience in hands-on development
  • Experience working as a Senior Front End Engineer / Developer in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, with the ability to quickly adapt new technologies to our platform
  • Proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies, including frameworks like React, Angular, Node.js, and databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and a strong eye for design and user experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Understanding of best practices in web security and scalability
