The Challenge

We are looking for a solution-focused professional with 2-3 years of experience in heavy industry (metal casting, manufacturing, mining or related sectors) to:

  • Design & Customize: Develop mill liner products that are fit-for-purpose and meet the highest customer standards.
  • Analyze & Simulate: Conduct data-driven analysis using FEA (Ansys) and DEM (Rocky) to ensure total product integrity.
  • On-Site Engineering Excellence: Perform site-based reverse engineering and technical troubleshooting at customer operations.
  • Global and Local Team Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales and Commercial teams to validate new solutions and provide a market advantage.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Education: Tertiary degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related stream.
  • Sector Experience: 2-3 years within an engineering design team in mining or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Software Toolkit: Intermediate to advanced CAD (Unigraphics NX or similar) and proven experience in FEA and DEM simulations.
  • Communication: Professional proficiency in English (verbal and written) for global collaboration is not required but a plus to have,
  • Field Readiness (Fit for Duty/Physically Eligible): Ability to navigate and move around mine sites for inspections, measurements, and technical support.

Location & Flexibility

This position is based in Las Condes, Santiago. We offer a structured path toward flexibility with a hybrid model (upon discussion with the hiring team), allowing you to balance office collaboration with remote focus. Candidates not based in Santiago are welcome to apply
