
Regional Sales Manager

As our Regional Sales Manager, you'll be joining a global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of wear products and services for mining equipment.

Role Purpose & Contribution:
Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving sales growth, strengthening key customer relationships.
You will play a critical role in developing strategic supply agreements, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to broader business strategy and product development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Growth
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive profitable growth
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key mining and processing customers
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Grow market share across staple product lines
- Explore expansion opportunities, including overseas markets
- Negotiate and manage strategic supply agreements
Commercial & Reporting
- Own regional sales budget and deliver against revenue and gross margin targets
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity and market intelligence via Salesforce
- Provide order forecasts and management reporting
- Optimise sales processes and improve performance systems
- Develop and maintain market share and forecasting tools
Leadership & Capability
- Potential future responsibility to lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers
- Foster a high-performance, customer-focused sales culture
- Set clear performance expectations and manage outcomes
- Identify talent and support career development
- Translate business strategy into clear operational priorities
Operational Planning
- Develop and implement medium-term work plans
- Scope and lead improvement initiatives
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, supply chain and product development teams
About You
You are commercially driven, technically capable and confident operating in complex mining environments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Formal qualification in Engineering, Mining, Business or Trade
- Demonstrated years of experience in mining or associated markets
- Technical sales experience in industrial or processing products
- Exposure to export/import requirements (desirable)
- Trade, Mining or Extractive Metallurgy background highly regarded
Skills & Capabilities
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Strong commercial acumen and budgeting experience
- Proven sales leadership and strategic planning capability
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Strong time management, networking and reporting capability
This role is based in Burswood or Kalgoorlie, WA
