What will your role be?

As a Press Operator within Bradken Lima (Linings S.A.)’s Production team, you will take on a skilled, committed role in our fabrication shop. In this role, you will perform rubber liner pressing in line with current codes, specifications, and standards, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform all press activities required by the area lead, according to work orders.
  • Laminate rubber on the mill and prepare mixes as needed to execute pressing.
  • Communicate and work closely with Quality Control, Safety, and Maintenance.
  • Support general workshop requirements and maintain order and cleanliness (5S) in your work area.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with company labor practices and health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum education: High school.
  • Employment certificate in a similar role.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Press Operator.
  • Desirable: knowledge of liner models to be pressed and rubber milling/lamination.
  • Ability to read and interpret 2D/3D drawings.
  • Knowledge of materials, metrology, calculations, and quality control.
  • Ability to operate power tools (grinder, angle grinder, etc.).

Skills & competencies:

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret technical information or instructions.
  • Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Effective teamwork, with a strong work ethic, organization, planning, and attention to detail.
