Research Director

Are you a research leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-frequency environments? As a Research Director, you’ll take the lead on one of our most complex multi-market tracking studies, working closely with high-level clients and cross-functional teams. You’ll drive insights, manage timelines, and solve problems—fast. This role is ideal for someone who’s equal parts strategist, communicator, and project manager, with a strong foundation in custom research.
📌 Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
- Lead a large-scale, multi-market tracker with multiple waves and stakeholders
- Own all stages of research projects—from proposal to delivery
- Build strong relationships and serve as the key contact for senior-level clients
- Design surveys and translate client questions into actionable research
- Create and present reports with insights that drive business decisions
- Guide and mentor junior researchers and manage internal operations tasks
✅ These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
- At least 7 years of experience managing custom market research projects
- Background working on the vendor side in roles of increasing responsibility
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end research with minimal supervision
- Strong client-facing skills and ability to build trusted partnerships
- Experience with survey logic and tools like Excel, G-Suite, PowerPoint
- Skilled in writing clear, insight-driven reports and presentations
- Strong time management and troubleshooting abilities in fast-moving contexts

For roles based in California, New York, Colorado or Washington State, the base salary hiring range for this position is $110,000 - $150,00 USD
Compensation offered will be determined by multiple factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
