Here’s a summary of the role:
YouGov is looking for a Graduate to support the Research Services team. This is a great entry level position for someone who is looking for experience of the entire research process and workflow. You will support the team in delivering a wide variety of surveys, on a number of different topics, clients and sectors.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to gain hands-on research experience, whilst also receiving coaching and support from your colleagues. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to pursue a career as a Researcher.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
You will receive the following:
- Experience of the entire research process - from client brief to results delivery and beyond!
- Exposure to all three Research Services teams – CENX DS, Self-Serve and Survey Management.
- You will learn how to develop a questionnaire from scratch, based on the client brief and objectives
- Gain knowledge of administrative processes and procedures, that are vital to the smooth running of an efficient and high-quality project
- Learnings about research best practice
What will I be delivering?
- You will be responsible (with support) for the Compiling process which is crucial to the Omnibus delivery
- You will support the team with administrative tasks to ensure excellent QC standards
- You will compile metrics of team performance, providing the team Head and Senior Management with crucial data
- You will support the team with basic survey scripting and data checking
- You will test survey logic to ensure surveys are error free, whilst at the same time developing your questionnaire design skills
- Support clients and internal stakeholders navigating the platforms and help with queries.

- The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to deliver results, meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
- A drive to work as part of a team and the ability to work on a solo basis
- The ability to be efficient whilst also having strong attention to detail is vital for this role, as we need to respond to multiple client queries in a timely manner
- Enthusiastic, willing and quick learner with a drive to succeed
Nice to haves:
- Experience of working with quantitative research surveys.
- Experience of working in a client facing role
- Experience in data handling and insights understanding
Technical skills and qualifications:
- Must be a confident user of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Excellent business writing, report writing, and communication skills.
