Account Manager

Breda, Netherlands

As an Account Manager you are the sparring partner for your client. You identify your customer’s needs and with your market knowledge , you define the optimal solution for the client’s business question out of a wide range of research options within YouGov.

We are looking for a passionate Account Manager who is eager to take the client’s business a step further. Reporting to our Commercial Lead also based in Breda, the Account Manager steers a client portfolio with multiple clients, take the necessary steps to achieve the commercial targets and you like to challenge and stimulate colleagues and customers with your expertise. The Account Manager thinks out of the box, and can translate trends from other markets and categories into market opportunities for your customers.

You Will:

  • Define concrete and creative research proposals to successfully answer customer’s Key Business Questions.
  • Develop relevant insights together with the market analyst and/or other consultants and translate them into 'actionable insights'.
  • Advise customers in developing effective strategies based on the most recent market trends and the behaviour and motivations of the FMCG shoppers.

You Have:

Essential

  • You are a proactive team player
  • You have a proven track record of 3+ years of experience as a commercial talent in a client centric environment in the market research side or at retailer or manufacturer side
  • You are sensitive to customer opportunities and understand the customer's business context.
  • You are analytical and can translate this in a good way into concrete solutions for the customer.
  • You are commercially driven from a fact-based consultancy point of view.
  • You have good communication skills, with good presentation skills (in Dutch and English).
  • You have a good understanding of the FMCG industry

Preferred

  • Familiarity with consumer panels.
  • Contact and network within NL FMCG clients
  • Good Dutch language skills (min. B2+)

 

Vacancy based in Breda with hybrid working arrangement (2 days p/w in the office)
