Software Test Engineer

If you are a passionate Software Test Engineer with a clear understanding of the position and its integral role in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), this is the right team for you.

You will:

  • Review user stories to ensure that acceptance criteria stated are correct, unambiguous and verifiable.
  • Work as an embedded tester in the context of a scrum team.
  • Evaluate the complexity of user stories, contributing to estimates during sprint planning.
  • Exploratory testing techniques, rapid software testing and Session-based testing, testing heuristics.

You have:​

  • 2-5+ years of commercial software testing experience.
  • Experience in using test frameworks.
  • Basic experience in modern frontend programming languages & frameworks (Typescript, Angular) and hands-on experience with SQL databases (MS SQL, Sybase, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases).
  • Good knowledge in the use of Git.
  • Basic understanding of Micro-Services architecture.
  • Knowledgeable in automated API testing.
  • Acceptance Test Automation in Selenium WebDriver.
  • Knowledgeable in BDD/TDD methodologies.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to develop high quality, maintainable and performant test code by triage issues found and report on progress.
  • Ability to ensure test execution is appropriately conducted by cross-functional scrum team members
  • A good ability to judge when a proposed technical solution requires discussion and consensus within the cross-functional team because it may impact: security,​ performance, operability, maintainability.
  • Good understanding of the software testing methodology and process of the development team and being able to fulfil the tasks and ceremonies required.
