Here’s a summary of the role:    

YouGov is offering an exciting 12-month Graduate Program in our Commercial function designed to give you invaluable hands-on experience in our research teams, providing a solid foundation for your career in-house. This unique rotational programme offers you the opportunity to experience two six-month placements across YouGov’s SRG-Tech teams. 

A Graduate Program Associate is principally responsible for interpreting data, creating reports and making recommendations based upon the research findings. The Graduate Program Associate applies qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce substantiated recommendations. The Graduate Program Associate will analyze primary market research data and manage projects in their day-to-day role. 

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):  

  • Understanding business objectives – Communicating with staff to understand business objectives 
  • Developing research tools – Designing or assisting in the development of questionnaires and moderator guides to ensure the necessary data is captured 
  • Project management – Managing research projects throughout the process 
  • Data analysis – Conducting in-depth data analyses using traditional and advanced methods 
  • Reporting insights – Authoring reports in PowerPoint/Google Slides that identify key findings and actionable recommendations 

Qualifications 

  • Detail oriented who can also multi-task, handling many different projects 
  • Must possess problem-solving skills using deductive reasoning and understanding 
  • Strong analytic and critical thinking skills 
  • Exceptional writing abilities 
  • Advanced Expertise with Excel 
  • Expertise with GSuite, (Sheets & Slides & MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint) 
  • Experience using SPSS, or R is a plus, but not required

For roles based in California, New York, Colorado or Washington State, the base salary hiring range for this position is USD 58,655 - USD 68,640
 
Compensation offered will be determined by multiple factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
