Supplier Operations Specialist
Here’s a summary of the role:
We're looking for a dedicated Supplier Onboarding Specialist to be the welcoming face and operational backbone for all new suppliers joining our company.
In this newly created role, you'll ensure that our new partners are integrated seamlessly and compliantly into our operations, playing a critical part in our overall success.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
- Coordinate the entire onboarding process for new suppliers, from initial contact to final set-up. You'll collect and validate all essential documents – tax forms, certifications, and banking details.
- Conduct vital due diligence and compliance checks (KYC and anti-bribery screenings) to make sure we're always working with legitimate and trustworthy partners.
- Take charge of managing and maintaining accurate supplier master data across our ERP systems, ensuring everything is consistent and integrates perfectly with our procurement and finance platforms.
- Keep all supplier records and audit trails immaculate, adhering to data governance and regulatory standards.
- Build and create onboarding processes, supporting automation initiatives and implementing new technologies.
- Assist in training both internal team members and suppliers on our onboarding tools and platforms.
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience in supplier/vendor onboarding, procurement operations, or data management.
- Experienced with ERP or supplier management systems like (SAP or NetSuite preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational superpowers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office applications.
- A high degree of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
