The role / position overview 

As the Digital Marketing Manager in the Financial Times’ Commercial Department, you will be responsible for the digital marketing strategy and promotion of all high profile commercial content campaigns for the EMEA region (both FT editorial and our advertising partner’s content). This position will report to the Performance Lead (EMEA/US)

  • Guarantee exceptional delivery of all US content marketing campaigns. With the highest levels of marketing strategy and client services at every stage of the campaign.
  • Develop the team’s workload - supporting the EMEA marketers where possible and involving them in US campaigns where needed.
  • Own the weekly US status meetings with the Project Management team.
  • Assist on the relationship with the marketing delivery arm of FT Studio
  • Share knowledge with the Performance Marketing team to ensure user journey learnings are applicable to all campaigns and develop further best practices in marketing promotion
  • Innovate projects to allow us to market through new ad formats, and further develop marketing strategies for multimedia campaigns
  • Regularly seek feedback from US sales colleagues and Content Strategy so as to continually improve marketing strategy, client services and campaign reporting
  • Cultivate and refine processes and workflows between all internal partners and delivery teams - specifically the Project Management and Campaign Management teams.

Required skills / experience

  • A great communicator with a personal gravitas to influence your direct reports and the people you work with
  • Hand-ons experience of the major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, LinkedIn) and web analytics platforms (Google Analytics)
  • Good creative judgement and copywriting skills
  • Positive, motivational and inspirational attitude with a constant focus on keeping team morale high and team members engaged
  • A strategic problem solver who can become comfortable with change and have a shown ability to find opportunities to improve processes and results
  • An analytical approach - somebody who can analyze performance based on data from multiple sources and can suggest improvements to increase results

Further information

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $65,000-$72,000. To ensure pay fairness, the successful candidate will be offered a salary within the estimated salary range based on a number of considerations including but not limited to: skill set; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate is for our NYC office and has not been adjusted for other locations.
