
(Senior) Mission Operations Manager (m/f/d)

- Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact projects, from planning to execution and closure
- Define and improve project governance (cadence, steering committees, status reporting, KPIs) to enable scalable execution
- Lead integrated planning across functions (R&D, engineering, operations, commercial) and drive alignment in a matrix organisation
- Proactively manage risks and dependencies across multiple workstreams, with structured mitigation and escalation
- Steer budget planning and financial tracking, ensuring forecast accuracy and target achievement
- Act as a senior communication interface to customers and distributors, managing expectations and escalations with confidence
- Ensure projects meet quality, compliance, and delivery standards, driving continuous improvement and lessons learned
- Support leadership initiatives such as portfolio prioritisation, process optimisation, and operational excellence
Your Profile
- Extensive experience in project management within technical, industrial, or hardware-related environments (robotics a strong plus)
- Track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects with high uncertainty and tight timelines
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, outcome-driven mentality and the ability to influence without formal authority
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including senior/exec-level alignment and escalation
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities; structured thinking under ambiguity
- Experience setting up project standards and governance (KPIs, RAID logs, reporting, steering routines)
- Strong tool literacy (e.g., Jira/Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, Excel/PowerPoint) is a plus
- Excellent English skills are a must; German a plus
- Eligibility to work in the UK is required
