
Head of People Operations (m/f/d)
The Role
We are looking for a motivated Head of People Operations (m/f/d) to join our People & Organisation team. In this role you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and nurturing the organisational culture, ensuring it aligns with the company's values and business goals. You will develop and oversee strategies for employee engagement, employee development, and People Operations creating a cohesive and positive work environment.
Your focus will be on strengthening the organisation’s People Operations by designing and implementing policies, processes, and initiatives that foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. In this role, you will oversee people practices across the full employee lifecycle for the Germany entities and, initially, the UK entities from onboarding and development to engagement and retention ensuring a consistent, compliant, and positive employee experience.
Reporting to the Director of People & Organisation, you will work closely with leadership to align People Operations practices with the organisation’s strategic priorities, ensuring that HR policies, operational processes, and people programs effectively support business growth, organisational culture, and a high-performing work environment.

- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for People development & Operations, retention, and succession planning
- Develop and implement initiatives that nurture a positive, inclusive, and dynamic workplace culture, aligning with the company's core values to enhance employee engagement and support
- Lead the development and communication of HR policies and procedures that support the organisation's goals and comply with legal standards
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate people and culture strategies that align with the company's overall strategic planning and operational execution
- Manage People Programs team in Germany to enhance transparency, facilitate effective information flow, and build a sense of community among employees
- Owning day-to-day People Operations and development topics and tools
- Leverage data analytics to inform HR decisions, optimising talent management processes, enhancing workforce planning, and improving employee experience and outcomes through evidence-based strategies
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in People Operations, with at least +3 years in a leadership role with a focus on People topics
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful People Operations strategies that align with business objectives
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, diversity and inclusion practices, and industry standards
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire employees at all levels
- Experience in change management and the ability to lead an organisation through growth or transformation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Fluency in both English & German
