Senior Java Software Engineer

For one of our major enterprise clients, we are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer (8–15 years exp). This is a role for a true craftsman who combines deep technical expertise with a strong ownership mindset—accountable for services, processes, and end-to-end delivery.

🛠 What you’ll do

• Develop and scale services using Java 21+ and Spring Boot.

• Apply DDD and modern architectures to solve complex business problems.

• Own production operations, ensuring reliability and high-standard monitoring.

• Lead CI/CD initiatives, maintaining robust pipelines for frequent deployments.

• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

• Collaborate proactively with POs, CJEs, and stakeholders to deliver value.

• Drive accountability, taking full ownership of the lifecycle from design to production.

✅ What we’re looking for

• 8–15 years of experience in Java engineering.

• Technical Mastery: Verifiable, hands-on expertise in Java 21+, Spring Boot, and DDD.

• Reliability Focus: Proven experience with production operations and monitoring.

• Mentorship: Demonstrable experience coaching and growing engineering teams.

• Active Engagement: Interactive, collaborative, and showing genuine curiosity.

• Execution Excellence: A track record of delivery verifiable through code reviews.

• Fluent English or Dutch + NL residency (no sponsorship).

Tooling: Java 21+, Spring Boot, DDD, CI/CD, Monitoring/Observability.
