Senior Frontend Engineer (Vue.js)

For one of our leading financial clients, specifically within the Daily Banking department, we are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer. You will be part of the team responsible for the core digital products that millions of customers interact with daily from payments and savings to high-end liquidity services like cash pooling. We believe in a DevOps way of working where autonomy, knowledge sharing, and solid engineering principles are at the heart of everything we build.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain high-traffic web applications using Vue.js (Vue 3), ensuring a seamless experience for daily banking users.

• Build and optimize modern web components, focusing on performance, accessibility, and clean code.

• Own the frontend lifecycle, from initial design and scaffolding with Vite to deployment via robust CI/CD pipelines.

• Ensure code quality through rigorous unit testing and participation in peer code reviews.

• Collaborate in a Scrum/Agile environment, working closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and product owners to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Modernize the stack by implementing latest concepts like modules, advanced linting, and efficient package management via NPM.

• Share knowledge within the engineering community through presentations, workshops, and collaborative problem-solving.

• Balance feature delivery with technical debt management, ensuring the long-term reliability of the product administration systems.

What we’re looking for

• Senior-level mastery of web development fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript.

• Deep expertise in Vue.js, specifically with Vue 3 and its ecosystem.

• Proven experience with modern build tools and environments (Vite, NPM, linters, and module systems).

• Solid testing mindset: Experience writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure production stability.

• CI/CD proficiency: Familiarity with automating deployments and maintaining high-quality delivery pipelines.

• Strong Agile experience: Comfortable working in high-performing Scrum teams.

• Excellent communication skills: Ability to articulate technical decisions and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Fluent in English + EU residency (no sponsorship).

Tooling (must use in practice): Vue 3, JavaScript (ES6+), Vite, NPM, Jest/Vitest, Git, and CI/CD tools.

Nice to have

• TypeScript: Experience building type-safe frontend applications.

• Web Components: Hands-on experience with Lit or native web components.

• Cloud & DevOps: Exposure to Azure cloud environments.

• E2E Testing: Familiarity with tools like Playwright or Cypress.

• ServiceNow: Experience integrating frontend solutions within a ServiceNow context.
