Full Stack Python Developer (Amsterdam – Hybrid)

We’re looking for a hands-on Full Stack Developer who thrives in complex environments and enjoys working with modern Python frameworks, web components, and AI-related technologies.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain full-stack fiscal web applications using Python (FastAPI).

• Work with our custom HTMX-like framework (fixi.js), integrating web components and Jinja-based server-side rendering.

• Collaborate with other developers, product owners, and data engineers in an agile team environment.

• Integrate and manage data using MarkLogic (NoSQL).

• Contribute to API development, deployment automation, and continuous integration (GitHub Actions).

• Explore and support the integration of AI-driven features, including vector databases and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in a web server language (Python or Node.js).

• Experience in web development with frameworks such as React, Vue, or server-side rendering approaches.

• Solid understanding of databases and backend integration; experience with MarkLogic (NoSQL) is a plus.

• Familiarity with API design and development.

• Experience with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD pipelines.

• Interest or experience in AI systems, vector databases, or RAG architectures is a strong plus.

• Strong analytical skills — ideally with a background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

• A hands-on developer who loves building and problem-solving (not a managerial role).

• Able to integrate quickly into an existing team working on complex systems.

Work Environment
