Director of Marketing Operations and Analytics

The Role:

As the Director of Marketing Operations and Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in driving our marketing strategy through data-driven insights and operational efficiency. You will lead a team responsible for optimizing marketing campaigns, measuring performance, and enhancing overall marketing effectiveness.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing operations strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Implement robust analytics frameworks to measure campaign performance, customer acquisition costs, ROI, and other key marketing metrics.
  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline marketing processes and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Technology Management: Oversee marketing technology stack, ensuring tools and platforms are effectively utilized for maximum impact.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of marketing operations and analytics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Product, and Finance to align strategies and drive cohesive marketing initiatives.
  • AI first: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and focus on driving an AI first strategy to support efficient growth

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in marketing operations, analytics, or related roles within the tech industry. Minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Analytical Skills: proficiency in marketing analytics, data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Salesforce).
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to translate data insights into actionable marketing strategies and recommendations.
  • Leadership Abilities: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
