The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Marketing Analyst to join our Marketing Operations experts dedicated to enhancing marketing effectiveness through data-driven insights. As the Senior Marketing Analyst, you will form the analytics strategy to build reporting and insights that demonstrate our marketing campaign performance, revenue growth, and ROMI; driving a data-driven mindset across the Marketing function.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analytics Strategist: Define the marketing analytics strategy and advise colleagues on the analytics needed to answer marketing questions
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret marketing data to provide actionable insights and recommendations including creating campaign reporting that tells us what marketing creates demand and revenue. Create an attribution model for marketing activities related to impact on revenue 
  • Marketing analyst: Collate Marketing requirements and translate into analytics requirements to design and build dashboards 
  • Performance Reporting: Define and implement KPIs and OKRs with Marketing leadership to align objectives. Develop and maintain dashboards in Looker and lead regular business performance reviews with Marketing, enabling data-driven decision making
  • Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of marketing data across various platforms and tools, including CRM and marketing automation systems.  Implement data governance practices tailored to the specific needs of marketing data security and integrity
  • Communication: Communicate progress to targets and KPIs to Marketing through relevant channels
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and data science teams to prioritize dashboards and data insights
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest AI and data analytics trends and technologies to continuously automate Marketing tracking
  • Training: Champion data literacy and promote analytics best practices throughout the organization by hosting workshops and driving continuous improvement efforts
  • Management: Manage the Data Associate, fostering a learning culture, providing guidance and direction.

 

Qualifications:

  • Communication Skills: Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities, interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and knowledge of advanced statistical analysis techniques and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)  
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable marketing insights
  • Marketing Enabler: Proven experience creating self-serve Marketing dashboards for senior leaders, preferably in a FinTech organization
  • Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of Marketing workflows and activities, part of a Marketing operations or data team
  • Certifications: Bachelor's degree in a numerate subject – Maths, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. Relevant certifications in analytical tools and coding languages.
