Head of Business Operations (CGAO)

Following the establishment of the Global Affairs Division, which brings together Compliance, Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Affairs under one leadership structure, we are looking for a Head of Business Operations (Chief of Staff to the CGAO).

This role sits at the heart of the organization, with direct exposure to the Founder & Controlling Shareholder, the Board, and the broader C-suite. Acting as a trusted partner to the Chief Global Affairs Officer, the role serves as a strategic and operational force multiplier, ensuring alignment, execution discipline, and effective communication across the Global Affairs verticals and beyond.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 7–12 years of total experience, with at least 5 years in a structured, analytical, and cross-functional environment (e.g. management consulting, PMO, business operations, strategic office).
  • Experience operating in complex or regulated environments (technology, financial services, telecoms, or large corporate settings). Gaming experience is not required.
  • Strong organizational and execution capabilities, able to manage multiple parallel workstreams.
  • Proven analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to quickly synthesize complex information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing executive- and board-level materials.
  • High emotional intelligence and discretion, with the ability to build trust and navigate senior stakeholders.
  • Comfort working with data, dashboards, and structured operating models (OKRs, PMO frameworks).
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a senior, high-exposure role without direct people management.

What you’ll be doing? Responsibilities.

  • Strategic Execution & Alignment: Drive execution and alignment across Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, and Corporate Affairs, ensuring strategic priorities are translated into clear, actionable plans.
  • Governance & Operational Discipline: Establish and maintain structured governance, planning, and reporting rhythms to support execution discipline across the Global Affairs Division.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the primary coordination point between the CGAO’s office and other C-suite functions, enabling effective collaboration and decision-making.
  • Progress Tracking & Issue Management: Monitor progress against agreed priorities, identify risks and dependencies, and surface issues early with proposed solutions.
  • Executive & Board Support: Prepare high-quality briefs, presentations, and materials for leadership meetings, board interactions, and key stakeholder engagements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong working relationships across senior leadership, influencing outcomes through coordination and alignment rather than formal authority.
  • Strategic Initiatives & Ad-hoc Projects: Support special projects and initiatives across the Global Affairs portfolio, ensuring clarity, structure, and timely delivery.
  • Confidentiality & Trust: Handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
