Product Operations Lead

About the Role

As a Team Lead – Operations, you will oversee shift operations to ensure smooth and accurate settlement of both fiat and blockchain-based transactions. You will lead a team, manage daily reconciliation, mitigate risks, and resolve operational issues efficiently. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will drive process improvements, maintain compliance, and enhance overall operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

What You Will Do 

  • Lead and manage a shift team to ensure smooth daily settlement operations, covering both fiat and blockchain-based transactions.
  • Drive operational excellence by overseeing reconciliation, risk mitigation, and investigations across transaction flows.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues, coordinating with internal teams to resolve challenges efficiently using technology and automation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management policies while optimizing workflows for enhanced efficiency.
  • Train and mentor shift team members to maintain high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Work cross-functionally to bridge the gap between product limitations and user expectations, driving a superior product experience.

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Operations within a regulated financial environment, with exposure to transaction flows, risk control, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring a team in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges.
  • A solid understanding of stablecoins, blockchain networks, custody solutions, and DeFi protocols.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to escalate concerns, facilitate discussions, and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Flexibility to work in rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
