About the Role

The Payment Operations Specialist will oversee end-to-end payment processing, troubleshoot transaction discrepancies, and coordinate with banks, merchants, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced fintech environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in payment systems, a strong operational mindset, and a commitment to excellence in financial transactions.

What You Will Do

  • Process deposit/withdrawal unblocking, cancellations, refunds, and settlements.
  • Reconcile transactions and monitor payment flows to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with bank partners and merchants to resolve payment issues.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to troubleshoot system/dashboard issues.
  • Monitor transactional anomalies and escalate discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports to comply with regulatory requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience in payment operations, fintech, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with payment gateways, bank APIs, and transaction lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience in a startup/fintech environment.
