Treasury Analyst

PayRetailers' business is growing exponentially, and we are adding new payment methods in the different countries. To support this growth, we are looking for a  Treasury Analyst who will be responsible for for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of merchant settlement process, securing optimal routing of payments and treasury governance. This role involves managing daily settlement responsibilities, supporting treasury governance, and optimizing financial processes to support PayRetailers' growth. The analyst will work closely with various internal and external teams to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations. The Treasury analyst maintains knowledge and expertise on market settlement methodologies and applies technical and business expertise in managing daily settlement responsibilities. The Treasury analyst has a eye for detail and secures a controlled process environment to ensure high accuracy

What You'll Do:

  • Analyze and verify payment proposals for merchants based on processed volumes.
  • Prepare and execute payments for merchants, ensuring timely and accurate settlement.
  • Collaborate with banks and counter-parties to confirm settlement and payment instructions.
  • Participate in IT projects to enhance in-house treasury systems.
  • Forecast daily and weekly settlements to facilitate cash flow management.
  • Ensure compliance with treasury policies, including quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Develop and maintain treasury policies and procedures in line with internal control requirements.
  • Conduct weekly controls on balances held with partners and optimize costs related to partners.
  • Minimize FX risk on cash held in different entities and oversee departmental budgets.
  • Support in building treasury reports and undertake analytical reviews to suggest improvements.

What We're Looking For:

Knowledge and Skills

  • Outstanding analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to lead and drive change initiatives.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to new assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, or payments business is a strong plus.

Prefered Qualifications and Experience

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field.

Good level of English and Spanish

Experience Target:

2+ years in a payment analyst role or similar role
