PayRetailers' business is growing exponentially, and we are adding new payment methods in the different countries. To support this growth, we are looking for a Merchant Activation Manager who will  will lead our Merchant Activation Team operations, ensuring unparalleled service levels and driving strategic customer engagement. This role requires a strong leader capable of managing a team of Integrations Specialist, overseeing the seamless integration of our solutions, and fostering deep collaboration with our commercial teams. The individual will play a critical role in enhancing client satisfaction, optimizing operational processes, and contributing to the overall commercial success of the organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technical support professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
  • Set clear goals and expectations, providing regular feedback and support to drive team success.
  • Oversee the technical onboarding process for high-value clients, identifying their unique technological needs and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure the successful integration of our solutions by guiding clients through complex technical setups and advising on best practices.
  • Develop and implement structured processes to minimize disruptions and continuously improve response times.
  • Analyze the performance of key clients, particularly VIP merchants, to identify opportunities for volume and conversion improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial teams to implement optimization strategies that enhance client outcomes and drive revenue growth.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the technical support team and commercial teams, ensuring alignment on client needs, goals, and strategies.
  • Facilitate communication across departments to resolve client issues effectively and ensure a unified approach to customer service.
  • Lead the creation of comprehensive monthly performance reports, highlighting key insights and recommending actionable strategies for continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing technical support teams.
  • Ability to inspire and lead a team towards achieving both individual and organizational goals.
  • Strong understanding of business and commercial processes, with the ability to align technical support efforts with broader business objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with a focus on fostering long-term client partnerships.
  • Proficiency with ticketing systems and CRM tools like Jira, Freshdesk, and Salesforce.
  • In-depth knowledge of technology and industry trends, with hands-on experience in API integrations, data analysis, and the use of technical tools such as Postman and SQL.

Prefered Qualifications and Experience
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in systems administration, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications in technology or project management are highly desirable.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Fintech industry, with a strong background in technical support, account management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in managing high-profile client relationships and leading technical support teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive experience working closely with commercial teams to drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Travel availability is required.
