About the role:
The Junior Procure-to-Pay Analyst plays a vital, entry-level role within the Procurement-to-Pay (P2P) function. This position is responsible for delivering accurate and timely support across day-to-day transactional operations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth processing of financial transactions, data integrity, and basic vendor communication, contributing to the team’s overall efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, review, and processing of employee expense reports in line with internal policies and reimbursement guidelines.
- Accurately input invoice data, ensuring correct matching with purchase orders and proactively resolving discrepancies.
- Support the timely execution of vendor payments and assist in reconciling vendor statements to ensure account accuracy.
- Maintain well-organized and complete documentation of all P2P activities, ensuring readiness for audits and regulatory compliance.
- Respond to standard inquiries from vendors and internal teams, providing timely updates and advancing unresolved issues when needed.
- Perform routine data entry tasks and contribute to generating basic financial reports to support analysis and decision-making.
- Participate in audit processes by preparing and submitting required documentation and transactional records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Certification as a Public Accountant (CPA) is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Fresh graduates or individuals with up to one year of experience in finance or procurement functions are encouraged to apply.

- Understand basic accounting principles like GAAP or IFRS. Apply them accurately in financial transactions.
- Excel & Financial Tools- Proficiency in Excel and financial tools for data management, analysis, and reporting. Ability to perform calculations, use formulas, and create structured reports to support financial operations.
- Industry Knowledge- Awareness of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and the broader market landscape relevant to the organization. This knowledge supports better decision-making and risk anticipation in financial operations.
- Approach- Even in a junior position, having the capacity to comprehend how daily tasks align with overarching business objectives. Willingness to embrace a forward-looking attitude in process improvements and reporting.
- Communication Skills- Clear and effective verbal and written communication with both internal collaborators and external vendors. Ability to interpret and relay information expertly.
- Collaborator Management- Basic engagement with internal and external collaborators to support smooth financial transactions and issue resolution. Demonstrates a customer-focused approach.
- Collaboration- Team-oriented approach with a focus on sharing information and working cooperatively with colleagues across finance, procurement, and vendor relations teams.
- Data Analysis- Ability to collect, organize, and interpret basic data sets to support reporting and decision-making. Familiarity with data integrity and basic statistical tools is a plus.
- Problem-Solving- Demonstrates initiative in identifying and resolving routine issues in the P2P process using structured, logical approaches.
- Decision-Making: Demonstrates sound judgment in advancing issues appropriately and supports informed decision-making by providing accurate data and documentation.
