The Role

FT Live is looking for a strategic and committed Marketing Manager – Partner Events to join our high-performing team on a fixed-term basis until March 2026. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this role will drive the delivery of marketing campaigns for customized client-partnered events that span multiple sectors and geographies.

You’ll develop insight-led strategies that deliver value for our partners and resonate with FT audiences—helping us grow our brand, hit important metrics, and deliver standout customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies across a portfolio of high-profile client events.

  • Analyse client briefs and propose innovative marketing solutions aligned with client goals and FT standards.

  • Profile audiences and build customer personas using insights from platforms like LinkedIn, Google Analytics, and more.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Content, Design Studio, Audience Engagement) to ensure cross-functional campaign delivery.

  • Be responsible for end-to-end campaign execution including content strategy, paid and organic promotion, partnerships, and microsite development.

  • Take full responsibility for event microsite creation and optimisation.

  • Lead the creation of outbound communications such as eDMs for lead generation and audience engagement.

  • Manage campaign budgets and provide post-event reporting on performance and ROI.

  • Build strong client relationships to support campaign success and renewal opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of B2B event marketing experience.

  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-channel marketing campaigns.

  • Based in London with willingness to work from the office two days per week preferred; remote candidates also considered.

  • Proficiency in marketing tools including Bloomreach (or similar), Salesforce, CMS platforms, Google Analytics, and campaign reporting tools.

  • Strong project management, partner engagement, and analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with platforms like Bizzabo, Slack, Asana, and Canva.

  • Experience working on client-sponsored events or in a commercial partnerships environment.
